For what it's worth WMU Media Relations issued a press release about the three hockey players who signed letters of intent during the early signing period last week (and it only took them a week to get the info out this year). Those would be: forward Ben Miller, and defensemen Ross Henry and Matt Tennyson. You can read all about it here if you're interested in learning stuff we already knew. Jim Culhane says all the right vague things about his recruits and everything he says is right in line with the scouting reports on these players.
The Kalamazoo Gazette also had an article about this today, but it's little more then a rehash of the press release. You can read that here.
Of course there are the three Broncos who signed last year too to make a class of 6 (even though WMU only loses 5 seniors). Those who signed last year are defenseman Luke Witkowski, and forwards Jordan Gidaro and Brett Beebe. Both the press release and the Gazette article make mention of those who signed last year, but for some reason the Gazette seems to think they signed last December even though there is no December signing period for Hockey.
